Aine (‘anya’) Downey
Hello! I am Aine (pronounced ‘anya’ and it means Ann in Gaelic!) I love lacrosse! I have been playing since I was about 5 beginning with Brookline Town lacrosse. By age 9 I was playing club lacrosse and could not get enough. I was a 4-year starter and captain at Brookline High and currently, play lacrosse for Connecticut College where I started as a freshman, was leading goal scorer and named to the All Regional 2nd Team – Go Camels! I thoroughly enjoy sharing my love of lacrosse with young players and supporting the next generation of lacrosse leaders.
